Your consent for your genetic data.
Before you pay, the checkout asks you to confirm this statement. Without it, no order is placed:
I expressly consent to Atlas Life Sciences GmbH collecting my saliva sample, generating my genetic data from it by sequencing my whole genome, processing that data and storing my sample and my data in order to perform the service I am ordering and to make my data available to me.
The checkout also states:
- Atlas will not use my sample or my genetic data for research and will not share them with anyone for research unless I give separate express consent for each specific research use. This order includes no such consent.
- I can ask at any time for my genetic data to be deleted and my sample to be destroyed by writing to service@atlasbiolabs.com. Order and invoice records, which contain no genetic data, are kept as long as the law requires.

A clear boundary.
The subject matter of the contract is the sequencing of the submitted sample and the delivery of the resulting raw data. Clinical interpretation, reporting of findings and any communication by a physician are expressly not part of the service.

- Annotation and filtering against a defined gene set
- Medical assessment of individual variants
