§10 GenDG: pre-test genetic counseling

This is a predictive genetic test. Under §10 Gendiagnostikgesetz you must either receive pre-test genetic counseling, or waive it in writing. Choose one of the options below.

I waive pre-test genetic counseling in writing (§10 GenDG waiver). My sample will be processed directly upon arrival at the laboratory, and I receive my genetic data and AI-interpreted report without delay. Genetic counseling with a board-certified medical geneticist remains available at any time after I receive my results.I request pre-test genetic counseling. A team member will contact me within 5 working days to schedule a consultation. The consultation takes place before laboratory analysis; this may extend total turnaround by 1–2 weeks.
